After welcoming my little girl at the end of November, I have been adjusting to my new role as a mom of two and soaking in those first few months with our little family. It’s been a beautiful yet whirlwind of a time, and I have loved getting to know the newest little member of our family.

I have also spent the last few months doing some exciting new trainings/workshops, such as deepening my work within the perinatal space/transition to parenthood (matresence), working within an Internal Family Systems Informed (IFS lens) in parts work, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy – especially with many folks dealing with heightened anxiety due to the changing nature of the world and our lives.

Another exciting milestone is that I am officially a fully Licensed Counselling Therapist (no longer a -C, which is a Candidate). This means that over the last two years, I have completed the requirement of over 2000 hours of counselling work and 50 hours of supervision. All New Brunswick counsellors are required to go through this candidacy period and it is with excitement that I share I have completed mine!

I have greatly missed my time with clients and I am so looking forward to being back in the office and supporting you all again. My date of return to the office will be on Monday, May 26th, and Luke and Sarah at the front desk will be calling all clients who expressed interest in resuming sessions with me at the beginning of April to secure your spot in my client list and schedule.

I look forward to reconnecting with so many of you again, and welcoming you back into my space! <3

I’m Stephanie Coady (she/her/hers), a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I’m a lifelong Frederictonian; completing my Bachelor of Arts at the University of New Brunswick and my Masters of Education at the University of New Brunswick in Counselling Psychology.
