November Newsletter – Stephanie Coady

Happy November!

As we are heading into cozy season, here are a few ways that your pet can provide nervous system regulation, mental, and physical wellness during this time (and anytime!)

Other than being a cute furry member of the family, pets provide tons of mental and physical health benefits as well

– Elevates our levels of serotonin and oxytocin during walks/play.

– Helps to add structure and routine.

– Helps people socialize and encourage movement.

– Provides companionship, company, and purpose.

– Studies have shown that dogs have evolved to become acutely connected to humans and our behavior/emotions

– Unconditional love – they never judge you!

– Research has shown that pet owners have lower heart rates and blood pressure.

“Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal humans have ever made.”
– Roger A. Caras

Let me know what you love about your dog – This is Radar who is turning 10 this December.
