What Would You Rather: Symptom Suppression or Health Transformation?

Would you rather suppress your symptoms or transform your health?

This is a very important question to answer when seeking support for health challenges.

Answering this question before you begin is so important because each of these paths, symptom suppression and health transformation, lead to very different destinations.

For anyone confronting deep questions about their health, body, mind and even life itself, this question needs to be answered.

I like this analogy, "The Machine vs The Web" to help you find your answer.

the Machine

Do you believe that we are born with our destiny set by our genetic code? That our bodies are finely calibrated machines that are prone to break-down, requiring repair? Do you believe that sickness is mainly caused by bad genes, bad germs or bad luck? Do you believe that aches and pains, fatigue, indigestion and headaches are normal functions of the body?

Or...

the Web

Do you believe that the body has an innate wisdom that guides all of its actions? That illness is a sign of imbalance somewhere – whether it be physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, nutritional – and that it is an invitation to change something in order to restore function.

Do you believe that your health and wellness are important for the health and wellness of your family, friends, coworkers and your community?

your Perspective Determines your Experiences

What do you resonate with? How do you interpret the world from this perspective? Let me tell you, your interpretation will generate completely different experiences consistent with each worldview.

One is a way to get through life. To numb the pain. To avoid discomfort. To relinquish responsibility.

The other is a way to to live life at your highest level. To trust in your body. To step into discomfort knowing that an extraordinary life is waiting on the other end. To put in the work that will allow you to experience life with energy, vitality, excitement and joy.

Our approach to your health is holistic, which is an overused buzz word, so let me explain.

We approach your care by looking at all aspects of your life, not just the problem you may have (i.e. low back pain).

Finding and fixing neurological problems that are negatively affecting your health is our primary goal - giving you the support work that you need to make lasting changes in your health and life is the bonus that we empower you with.

Healing is a journey, that is for sure. Sometimes it's hard to know where to start, and that's ok. Even if you don't feel ready, do something that will move you in the right direction, towards transforming your health... and start now.
