5 Things You Need To Know About Carly

Introducing the newest member of our Team, Carly! Here are 5 things she wanted you to know about her:

1. There's no shore like the North Shore, that's for Shore!!

That's right! I'm from the North Shore!! I grew up in a small, little coastal community called Janeville. And yes, I know, you've never heard of it. You're not the only one!! Janeville is about 20 minutes Northeast-ish of Bathurst and it is beautiful!! The nickname for where I grew up is "Downshore". Being the creative northerners that we are, the area got the name because it is, literally, down the shore from the city.

2. Salt Water Fish

I've been living in Fredericton off and on for almost 15 years and I still call Downshore home and a few of the things that I miss is having the beach in my front yard, hearing the fishing boats on the water on a calm morning, driftwood bonfires and a good old fashioned squall coming across the bay. I am definitely a salt water fish by nature.

3. Trees, Four wheelers and Adventures, Oh my!!

My boyfriend and I love to spend our time outdoors and in the woods. We enjoy going to a camp up by Mount Carleton and four-wheeling, fishing, hunting and general adventuring in the woods. We have seen our fair share of wildlife, once a little too closely!!

4. I like to move it, move it.

I'm sure you've already guessed that I hate to sit around. In addition to the activities mentioned, I also enjoy going to the gym, golfing and I've been known to run the occasional 5k. I believe that it is important to keep busy and moving to help you stay healthy.

5. Childhood Favorite

While many people close to me make fun of me for it, I have read the Anne of Green Gable series, start to finish, almost every summer since I was 12.

Carly is excited to be part of the Team, supporting you on your journey towards better health!
